Though no longer working directly with us, Mary is a very important part of NMLB! Mary started the program when she joined a program with a name brand clothing company that makes breastfeeding apparel. They donated items to her and she gave hem to breastfeeding mothers who otherwise would not be able to afford breastfeeding clothes. This got her thinking about how she would love to also be able to offer baby slings to mothers, and the “No Mother Left Behind” program was launched. Individuals and businesses send slings to us and we in turn distribute them to mothers in need.

While expecting my son, I read article after article about the wonders of babywearing. They all claimed that it would help my baby sleep better, nurse better, learn more, grow better and be happier. Once my son was born I learned how true it is! Since babywearing has done so much for me and my family I have become a babywearing advocate. I wish to share the joys of babywearing to everyone!
